Who Plays Paintball?
Who plays paintball? Any able bodied adult or child can play paintball. Paintball is played in more than 60 countries by millions of people of different ages and lifestyles. Whether you are a professor, secretary, mother of three, or professional, you will enjoy a good game of paintball as long as you play the game. While most sports rely on the strength and speed of its players, paintball relies on quick thinking and strategy. A lot of the time, intelligence and determination are more important than physical size and strength. The best paintball players make quick decisions on their feet and are able to formulate new strategies quickly. The fastest runner on the track team will not be able to outrun a paintball bullet.
Paintball is a sport that relies on one player protecting another, which makes it a great team building sport. Males and females of all ages are welcome to compete on the paintball field. Homemakers, professional's, retirees, and paintball players share a love of adventure and a strong competitive spirit. A paintballer can often develop leadership abilities which on the field will later help him or her in a business situation. The joy of helping your teammate to capture the flag can become a great confidence builder, and make for some great lasting memories.
Paintball is a great sport that can be enjoyed by people of all ages and sizes. And above all, the sport is very fun to be played. The game is a change to take your mind off work, schoolwork, or other family responsibilities. Once in the heat of battle, the stresses of the outside world will begin to disappear and you will have a great chance to let off a little steam. Once the adreniline starts pumping, you will be overwhelmed with competitive spirit and the thrill of the game.
As stated in this introduction, you do not have to look like Hulk Hogan or run like Carl Lewis to be a successful paintball player. In a sport such as football, the field is wide open and the goals are pretty clear. You run with the ball or catch it, and then go as far as you can until you are finally brought down. While this description is an oversimplification of the game, it is clear that strength and size can give you an overwhelming advantage in the game. In football, the fastest runner will be able to pass the other player in the open field. In contrast, there is no paintball player who has any obvious advantages over any others. No player running across an open field will be able to dodge a paintball, as opposed to a speedy running back avoiding a tackle. Which all sports rely on strategy, player formations and good game planning, paintball is a sport where it is perhaps the most important. Many times the best player is the one who moves the slowest, and makes her way towards the opponent without being noticed.
Anyone with a good attitude and a respect for the game would make a great paintball player.
