Paintball Teams
There are thousands of paintball teams in the United States, from paintball leagues such as the APX Tournament Series, Best in the West, and NEPL. Some paintball teams focus the majority of their energy on local tournaments, while others compete for national championships rankings. Some of the most well known teams in the United State are recognized for their accomplishments in their NPPL and PSP play. The NPPL is also known as the National Professional Paintball League, and PSP is also known as the Paintball Sports Promotions.

The PSP in 2007 will be hosting championship events such as the Los Angeles Open and the Mid-Atlantic Open. Paintball teams from several divisions open to players in Los Angeles include the Division 4 5-man, Division 3 5-man, Division 3 X-Ball, Division 2 X-Ball, Open X-Ball, and Pro X-Ball. Some of the prominent teams in the Division 4 5-man include 716 Army, Ballistic, Ballistic Reloaded, and Bolo Brigade. The roster of the Bolo Brigade is made up of William Sheridan, Larry Morrow, Samuel Marquez, Lamar Lawton, Chris Clarke, Michael Cervantes, Verone Cayento, and Dino Aranda. Dino has also competed in XPSL events in early 2007. For more information about the Bolo Brigade, go to the website of the American Paintball Players Association.
In 2007, competing paintball teams in the Division 3 5-man of the PSP included DVS, Suicide Kings, USA, No Limit, and Lynch Mob. In Division 3 X-Ball, the teams involved include TPA Revolution, MIA Outkast, DBS Kidz, and FIERCE. Team Fierce hail from Fort Myers, Florida and their roster of players includes John Ossian, Robert Longo, and Donny Stretch.
In the PSP, the Professional X-Ball is made up of teams such as the Baltimore Trauma, Boston Red Legion, X-Factor, Oakland Assassins, and Philly Americans. The official website of the Philly Americans goes to the website of Smart Parts, makers of some of the best paintball products. Smart Parts produces Barrel Condoms, air system accessories such as the Max Flow Air System, and barrel systems such as the Stainless Total Freak Kit. The roster of the Philly Americans includes professionals Spesh Robinson, Patrick Roberts, Robert Plum, Ryan Moorehead, Tim Montressor, Gant Maclellan, and Todd Hugo. Some other successful paintball teams in the Pro X-Ball division include the Sacramento XSV, Detroit Stronge, and Dynasty. The Sacramento XSV and Dynasty are two of the most well known teams that have spread their influence in the game beyond their exploits on the paintball field. Team Dynasty have made such a name for themselves and developed such a passionate fan base that they have their own line of uniforms, casual clothing, videos, and even marker parts in their name and likeness. Dynasty also sells a Dynasty SD Tilted Hat, a Head Wrap, and even Dynasty Ion Body Kits.
Though the PSP is a national series that may require significant travel to compete regularly, leagues such as the Alabama Challenge Event Series support regional games. Paintball teams from their Advanced Division include the N2 Allstars, Damage, PR Fusion, and Squad Black.
