DC Arsenal - NPPL Super 7
In 2006, the DC Arsenal ranked thirteenth in team rankings in NPPL Super 7 www.nppl.tv. The DC Arsenal ranked just behind the Los Angeles Infamous www.teaminfamous, and just ahead of the London Nexus at the end of NPPL season. For the season, the DC Arsenal ranked 13th, with 42 total series points from major events in Orange County Boston (Foxboro), San Diego, Tampa Bay, and Huntington Beach. Currently, the DC Arsenal are gearing up for the next major event taking place on Huntington Beach on March 23 through March 25.

The 2006 NPPL season was a thriller, with first place on the line all the way out to the very last match. The 2006 NPPL Super 7 season kicks off in Huntington Beach California, on March 24 to March 26. In this first event of the season, the Sacramento XSV came out with an early season lead, scoring first place at the Huntington Beach event. The Sacramento XSV scored 26 points in this event. The Sacramento XSV ranked first place from this event, followed by the San Diego Dynasty in second place, and the New York NR6 taking third. The second major NPPL tournament took place on March 19th, in Tampa Florida. In this event, the DC Arsenal placed 13th, behind the leaders in this event who included the Sacramento XSV, San Diego Dynasty, and the New York NR6. The third major was held in two cities, Boston (Foxboro) Massachusetts and San Francisco California. In the Boston paintball classic, the DC Arsenal placed 10th with 9 points. The leaders of the Boston Open at Gillette Stadium were the Miami Rage 26 points, followed by the Portland Naughty Dogs and the Joy Division. The Boston Open was held at Gillette Stadium, home of the three time champion New England patriots. The entire event featured both the professional paintball Games, as well as trade shows where producers of markers and gear showed off their latest lines of products.
The fourth event of the season was held in New York City on September 8 through September 10. The three winning teams of this event were the Joy Division, the Ironmen and the San Diego Dynasty placed first or second in every event but the Boston Open. The San Diego Dynasty placed 12th place at the Boston Open. The DC Arsenal ranked 7th in this event with 13 points. The Stockholm Joy Division won this event with 26 points, and they ended up ranking third for the year.
The NPPL is a very popular league, and has over twenty sponsors for its games. Some sponsors for NPPL games include Planet Eclipse, Hybrid Technologies, National paintball Supply, and Stanky Paintball Products Inc.. Stanky has been a great help to teams like the DC Arsenal, manufacturing products like the Crib. The Crib is a portable stand that you can put your marker on so that you'll have a place to put it when you need to rest between games. The Crib is light and compact, as it can fold up for when you plan on moving from one field to another. The Crib weighs less than 4 pounds. Stanky paintball also makes headgear and t-shirts.
