For the 2007 season, the team with the number one ranking in the professional division gets a trophy, 12 medals, and $25,000.00. Each player on the top ranked team gets a series medal from the NPPL. The team with the number two ranking for the season also get a trophy, medal, and $10,000.00. The third and fourth place teams get medals, trophies, and an additional $7,500.00 in cash. Though the other divisions are semi-pro or divisional, teams with the top 4 rankings for this season also get trophies and cash prizes. Teams that are awarded cash prizes can spend their money on paintball's that they can use to scrimmage each other or play shooting drill games like rapid fire and random rapid fire. In the shooting game random rapid fire, player shoot at ten targets that all have a number associated with them. When the official calls out each number, the player takes one shot at the intended target. As soon as the player takes the shot at the intended target, the official calls out the next number. At the end of the round of shooting, the time to go through the shooting exercise is recorded, with a second deducted for each missed target. The player with the shortest time wins the shooting exercise. When teams like the St. Louis Avalanche score in the top four in the series ranking, they can use the money to buy practice paintballs like Drakula pro-series paintball's from TC Paintballs, or reusable paintballs like T-ball paintballs from Rufus Dawg.
The St. Louis Avalanche team website is closely associated with Warped, who make paintball guns, paintball gear, skateboard gear, and paintball and skateboard clothing.
