Partnering Up. Teams that want to survive in competitive games have players that partner and protect one another in games. When teams launch an offensive, the point man leads the assault towards the enemy end of the field, while back player provides most of the cover fire. Without the support of the back player, the point man would not get very far before being knocked out of the game. The back player also communicates movements of the enemy to the point man and the tape runner, and shoots at the opposing players who represent a threat. Some markers that back players use to protect their teammates include the Typhoon from Palmers Pursuit Shop, the Superbolt from Psycho Ballistics, and the Series 5 from Chipley Custom Machine. The series 5 comes with a CM 12" Barrels capable of hitting targets from the back of the field, and a fast trigger for pushing the enemy back.

Move around keep moving until you have your enemy in a position where you think that you can make high percentage shots, and be vigilant towards finding the best angles to shoot from and make effective shots at the enemy.
Making Yourself Small. When you are hiding behind a bunker, or running across the field, try to make your self as small as you can, giving your opponents a smaller target to shoot at. If you are behind a snake bunker, then you must crawl or dive to avoid an enemy elimination. When behind a short or thin bunker, think about all of your paintball gear, and make sure that it is not sticking out far enough for the enemy to hit it.
