Rose Bowl - College Football
The Rose Bowl is one of the most important college football games of the year, as it is the most prestigious bowl games. The bowl games are the last college football games of the season that are played. There are a number of bowl games, and many less bowl games then there are teams, as the best teams play in a limited number of bowl games. Other prestigious bowl games include the Fiesta Bowl at Sun Devil Stadium, the Orange Bowl at Dolphin Stadium, and the Sugar Bowl at the Georgia Dome. The Rose Bowl is played in Pasadena, California, at the Rose Bowl Stadium. Though there is always debate as to who the best football teams really are; usually the best 8 college football teams in the nation play these 4 bowl games. Between these 4 bowl games, one of them is chosen as the site of the national championship game each year. The national championship game crowns the winner as the best college football program in the nation. Last year the Sugar Bowl was held in Georgia as a result of damage to the Louisiana Superdome where the game is usually played. In 2007, the Sugar Bowl is slated to return to the Louisiana Superdome.

The Rose Bowl game is a yearly event that usually takes place on New Year's Day, at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, California. The Rose Bowl game is the most historic and most prestigious bowl game, in large part due to the fact that it is the oldest bowl game. Due to the importance of this event, it has been nicknamed "The Granddaddy of Them All." The Rose Bowl football game is just one of a number of events that take place in game related events. Other events related to the game include the Tournament of Roses Event, which also includes the Tournament of Roses Parade.
The Tournament of Roses Parade - The Tournament of Roses Parade is one of the most popular parades in the United States, It draws tens of thousands of fans to watch the beautiful floats go by, and millions more watch it on network television. The floats at this parade are famous for their beautiful floral designs that include thousands of roses in virtually any color of the rainbow. Other fascinating and beautiful floats have had animal themes with rose designs among animals like lions and bears and zebras. This parade offers fans of the Rose Bowl a chance to participate in events surrounding the game, even if they don't have a ticket to the actual game.
History and Game Results - The Rose Bowl game goes all the way back to 1902, when the University of Michigan Wolverines defeated the Stanford on January first 1902. The Stanford Cardinals also made subsequent trips to the Rose Bowl in 1925, when they lost to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, and 1928, when they defeated the Pittsburgh Panthers. Other Football dynasties that have had several Rose Bowl appearances include the University of California, Berkley, commonly referred to as Cal in football circles. The Cal college football program reached the Rose Bowl in 1921, 1922 and 1938, when they defeated the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Like college football, paintball also has some memorable and televised championship events, like the NPPL Super 7 World Series.
