Freestyle BMX events involve 5 main disciplines, flatland, trails, skate park, and street. When an athlete performs during park BMX events, he will perform a number of tricks over and around obstacles such as quarter pipes, pyramids, hips, wall rides, and flat banks.
Acrobatic or Freestyle BMX and paintball are two events where the athletes rely heavily on the machines/technology they are using to have success in the events.
