Paintball special events may either refer to special private games at local recreational fields for events like birthday parties or corporate parties or they may be special tournaments at fields like Arnold Paintball. Special paintball events may either be private games that are booked by reservation for games like bachelor party paintball, or they may be themed events like D-Day or other types of military simulation games. At these types of special events, night barbecues or feasts are usually provided at the end of the day, and camping grounds are available on site, or these games are usually held near places that have local hotel accommodations. Special events like scenario games often have hundreds of players from both sides. In the Big Game at Arnold Paintball, two teams of more than 150 players face off, with multiple games being played simultaneously.
Rather than being simple 5 on 5 or 7 on 7 matches like at NPPL Super 7 Tournament like Huntington Beach 2007, special events like The Big Game may have several teams from a given side, with multiple games going on at once. What makes the Big Game and certain other scenario games special events is because they are not games played on a regular basis like on fields like Boston Paintball. The special events birthday party package at Boston Paintball includes a single fee of $319.95 for your entire party. Services that are included in your package is the field fee for up to 10 players, rental equipment for up to 10 players, and a single case of paintballs. There are 2000 paintballs in one case. Players that know little or nothing about the game are especially invited.
