LAW Rocket | Scenario Games
A paintball LAW Rocket is similar to a LAW Rocket that is used as a real military weapon. The LAW Rocket is an acronym for Light Anti-Armor Weapon, or LAW. In real life military situations, a LAW Rocket launcher is a portable device that can be held by one soldier. This launcher is rested on the soldier's shoulder, and he uses his two hands to aim the machine and fires explosive rockets at large military vehicles like helicopters and tanks. The LAW Rocket is a military weapon that was first developed in the U.S. by Talley Defense Systems. The LAW Rocket is the next generation of shoulder fired explosives, and it was an upgrade over the bazooka, a weapon that was an integral weapon in the Korean War.

The Military LAW Rocket. The weapon and projectile consists of a rocket packed inside a launcher made up of two tubes, one inside the other. The LAW Rocket is located inside the inner tube. The outer tube contains the trigger and the sights for aiming the weapon. When the trigger is pulled, gasses with intense pressures and temperatures of over 1000 degrees make the rocket explode out of the barrel. The projectile is a 66 mm warhead and carries enough firepower to damage or disable a tank. This device was used most often in the Vietnam War, and was later replaced by more sophisticated weapons like the AT4 anti tank weapon, and shoulder-Launched Multipurpose Assault Weapon (SWAW).
LAW Rocket as a MilSim Paintball Device. In real wars, the LAW Rocket was a deadly weapon, able to pierce the heavy armor of tanks. The paintball LAW Rocket is a paintball gun used in Mil-Sim or scenario games, and the projectiles fired by these weapons are harmless. The LAW Rocket and other Mil-Sim products such as mine bomb grenades are not available in most Proshops, but they can be found in websites like Real Action Paintball. Some products available at Real Action Paintball include the Tippmann Grenade Launcher Kit, the M1 Thunder Grenade, and the Grenade Launcher. Most grenade launchers are made out of a strong metal, such as aluminum or iron, and shoot paint grenades that spray paint in all directions shortly after hitting the ground. Some devices such as the RAP4 RIS Grenade Launchers can be mounted onto conventional paintball guns such as the Tippmann/S.O. X7 Basic Black.
Military themed products such as the LAM Launcher and the Tippmann/S.O. X7 Basic Black are ideal for young players who want to experience what a real life military conflict would feel like. The Tippmann X7 is designed in all black, with a trigger, muzzle, and cartridge that look like a real life military gun. This machine is also unique to the game as its loader is spaced off center from the scope, allowing the operator a non-obstructed sight at his target. The loader which shoots the paintballs is mounted to the right of the barrel, allowing the shooter a clear view from the site to his potential target.
One LAW Launcher that is popular on the Mil-Sim scene is the Bazooka from Innovative Works. This device has a barrel about 6 inches in diameter, and is a shoulder mounted machine. The Launcher shoots a mortar bladder, or up to 60 paintballs. The LAW Launcher also has two sights for lining up a target.
