D-Day | Scenario Event
D-Day is one of a number of themes for Scenario Events. Paintball, being a game of competition and survival, is a game that naturally lends itself to war games that feature some of the most historical battles. D-Day, or the Invasion of Normandy, was a historical World War 2 battle where the American soldiers stormed the beach in one of the key battle scenes that would lead to the defeat of the German armies. And Oklahoma D-Day in Wyandotte, Oklahoma host an annual summer D-Day event that honors the sacrifices of the American soldiers at the same times as it provides a thrilling series of events for paintball enthusiasts. D-Day is a famous event known to scenario teams all around the country, and has been featured in publications like Action Pursuit Games and Paintball Sports.
D-Day scenario events feature big teams, big events, and big battles.

The fields, bunkers, tanks and trucks that make up the big D-D-Day event were originally dreamed up and created by Dewayne Convirs. Dewayne Convirs started with a small business loan to buy army surplus, and built his fields into a setting for unbelievable scenario events that include Oklahoma D-Day, Blackhawk Down, The Bunker Extreme, and the Bunker Extreme (Special Scenario Games). The customer base for these games at Wyandotte, Oklahoma has grown by the thousands each year, and a scenario game enthusiasts continue to come back every year. With so many players showing up to these games from all over the continental U.S. and abroad, the people hosting and participating have created some memorable events worthy of publication in magazines Splat Magazine.
Like the real event, D-Day scenario events feature the two major players of the second World War with the allied forces, and the German forces. The Allied forces include several lines of infantry & armored units, as well as some heroic forces from the French Resistance. Each infantry unit of the French Resistance and the infantry units has their own specific objectives to accomplish. And there are a number of impressive Allied Commanders to make sure that each armored unit is doing their jobs in a manor that will ultimately lead to the West winning the War. Some of the key leaders of the Allied Forces include the Ken "Psycho" Moore, The Supreme Allied Commander, Major General Randy "Gen. Steele" Parker, and Brigadier General Cecil "Boomer" Higgins.
On the other side of the war is the German forces, with their formidable Infantry and armored Units, German Airborne Operations, and the German Special Operations featuring their elite Brandenburg Kommandos. Some of the objectives of the infantry and armored units including stopping the advances of the allies at key strategic locations, and using German tanks to fight off the allies as they try to make their initial invasion onto the German controlled forces.
These D-Day Scenario events feature over 25 individual battle sequences that will come down to skill & will as each army tries to hold their line in some of the most important fight sequences.
