Goggles On! Is a prompt by the referee, field officials, another player to get a player to put his mask on in a section of the paintball complex where he could be at risk. Playes are instructed to keep their masks on in any section of a paintball complex where there is another player with a live marker. A live marker is any paintball gun that does not have a barrel plug over the barrel. There are some sections of the complex where a player might feel safe but where their face and eyes might be compromised. One section might be the shooting range or the chronograph range. A player here might feel safe if the person shooting only shoots when he is aiming at targets or is only shooting to pick up his muzzle velocity speed. Remember rule number one that a player should keep his goggles on in any place where a player is shooting a gun, or holding a gun that does not have a barrel condom over the barrel. If you are interested in a safe goggle system, there are many excellent ones to choose from. Some paintball clocking systems include the Extreme Rage 20/20 Goggle, and Proto Axis. The Proto Axis is a system that has all the latest features that keep a players face cool, and a clear lens through some of the hottest summer tournaments.

Multi directional venting on the Axis lets you breath easier so that you do not waste more energy than you need to breathing in and out. The tri molding system on this mask will help the inside of this mask mold comfortably to your face. The mask has a very low profile, so that you will not expose any more of your profile than you need to as you attempt to peek out of the side of the Dorito or up over the Tombstone. The high-end triodal lens on this system gives semi-pro and professional level players a crystal clear view of the playing field.
The Goggles On! safety rule is as important as any other in the sport of paintball. Another important safety rule concerns the position of a player's gun when he is not actively involved in a game or if a game is over. In general, if there is not an active game going on, a player is expected to keep his marker sown and pointed away from another player. Even if all the people in the area do have their goggles on, it is bad policy to point your gun at someone else. Painting your marker at someone else and accidentally firing could cause pain or injury. The Goggles On! Rule is important on paintball fields like West-Side Paintball Field in Snohemish Washington and Valley Surplus in Harrisonburg Virginia.
Be sure to report any problems or foreign objects you see when on or near the playing field. If you see a wasp's next, shards of glass, sharp metal objects, alert the responsible officials or the present referees. Look out for any bunkers that are unsafe, or have nails sticking out of them.
