Private Parties
Private games, or private parties are paintball games that have been reserved for one group of people for a private event. Though paintball fields like Mansion House Farm and Martel Ventures Paintball have regular hours for recreational paintball games, many fields also have fields and hours that can be reserved for private games. Fields and hours that are reserved for private parties are usually closed events, meaning that players cannot walk-on to these games as they can for recreational games. Birthday Party Paintball and bachelor party paintball are both popular group activities for private games. Though birthday party paintball is often popular with players aged 10-15, it can be fun for players of any age. Why not celebrate your 30th or 40th birthday with a paintball party, to show that you can still run and keep up with people that are half your age. Instead of just having a barbecue and sitting around talking about your friends and job and family, why not get them all together to spend a day having fun and getting exercise. Maybe some of you have played before and some of you haven't, but by the end of your private games you will all have experienced a day of action.

Some paintball games that have been played at private parties have included blackjack, End of Day, hostage rescue, and dynamite paintball. Dynamite paintball is a game with one base that is located on two ends of a playing field. Each team has their own base, and one player from each team gets to carry a stick of dynamite. If the player carrying the stick of dynamite is tagged, he must drop the stick at the place that he got hit. The dynamite can be used to eliminate all the players that are in the base. The players in the base are eliminated if the player holding the dynamite throws it into the base. If a stick of dynamite is layed down by a player who was eliminated, another teammate can pick it up or a player from another team can attempt to steal it.
Private paintball parties can be planned with instead of or in addition to the usual events you would have with your friends, family, and co- workers. Personally, I have had friends and family members who had significant others who were very emotional about their participation in certain bachelor party events. It poses a dilemma for their friends who want to spend time with their friend who is getting married but do not want to hurt their spouse. Is there a way for a group of friends to have a thrilling day or night of fun without hurting anyone's feelings? Absolutely, groups of friends and family can have a good time playing bachelor party paintball or bachelorette party paintball. Other popular paintball parties have included college clubs paintball, graduation party paintball, and police party paintball.
There are several paintball fields that are up to the task of organizing your private games. Splat Hill Paintball offers private games for recreational skirmishes like capture the flag and cops and robbers.
