Paintball magazines such as Action Pursuit Games, Deadbox Magazine and Paintball 2Xtremes publish articles on a variety of topics ranging from tournament tactics to how to show others the right attitude on the paintball field. The articles fall into a number of categories including: interviews with high profile players, expert advice on paintball tactics, reviews of major paintball events, advice for newbie players, and reviews of the latest paintball gear that has just hit the market. In the September issue of the magazine, one of the opening articles summarized some eye opening paintball statistics. In this article, it was said that more than 8 million paintballs were fired at the 2006 PSP Chicago Open. Each team at the Chicago open fired nearly 34 thousand paintballs between them in a single match. These statistics show how much paint is fired at players in a single match. To keep up, it is essential for players to have enough ammo on them in a given match, and it is essential for players to have a marker that can shoot fast and straight. 4 highly productive paintball guns on the market include the 03X from Odyssey, the Nasty Impulse from Paintball Wholesalers, the E-TekEgo from Plant Eclipse, and the Punisher Ion from Punishers Paintball.
The Paintball 2Xtremes always publishes articles of the games biggest tournament events throughout the year. Paintball 2Xtremes also publishes a question and answer FAQ section answering questions that were mailed in, or posted to their website www.pb2x.com. Here is a segment from their September 2006 Edition.
