Alex Elliott - PSP
Alex Elliott is the onetime director of PSP, or Paintball Sports Promotions. The PSP is one of the premier paintball leagues in the US. Some of the events at PSP include the Mid-Atlantic Open, the Las Vegas Open, and the biggest paintball event in the nation, hosted every October in Orlando Florida. Alex Elliott of the PSP is the head of the premier leagues in the industry, with events in many game formats, including NXL, X-ball Ochos. Over 350 teams participate in PSP events during the year. PSP draws more and more players to its game every year, and is a big part of an industry that has grown to over 12 million players a year. The PSP was formed in early 2005, and today's PSP finals are held at Disney's Wide World of Sports in Orlando Florida. This sports mega complex hosts a great variety of sporting events, from the marathon to swimming triathlons to paintball championships. This Disney complex is big enough to host a large number of PSP events, and has a number of great accommodation for fans of the game, and friends and family of the players.

In the 2006 PSP Orlando World Cup, The best players from elite teams like the San Diego Aftermath and the Dynasty Entourage competed with spirited matches. At the PSP Orlando World Cup, championship events were held for the NXL Pro League, 10-man XBall and 5-man XBall; over 3000 players from 275 teams competed for prizes and glory of this event.

PSP organizers make sure that their events are not only fun and competitive for its players, but also great games for fans to watch. Admission to PSP events is free to fans and does not require any special passes. Because their events are so popular, their vendor tradeshows have the best manufacturers available at the vendor tradeshows unveiling the latest gear. Paint for PSP events is available for free, and paintballs separate to the tournaments is available at the vendor tradeshows. PSP events are points scored events, where teams are given points based on their ranking at the end of the event tournament. A first place team gets 100 points, and a last place team gets 10 points. Teams in the middle score based on their rankings between first and last place.
Players and teams register for PSP games on the PSP website. On the website there is a register button located at the top left side where players can register for the PSP, buy an ID Card, and view their season rankings compared to the other teams in their Division.
