Chamber | Breech | Paintball
The chamber is the part of the marker that accepts the paintball from the feed tube. The chamber is part of the main body of the paintball gun. The terms chamber, or breech, are used interchangeably. The chamber is where the ball waits to be launched by the marker's airpower when the trigger is pulled. The chamber, or breech holds the paintball in place so that it doesn't fall out of the barrel. The chamber also keeps other paintballs from dropping in. When the trigger is pulled, the ball fires out of the chamber and out of the barrel. When the paintball leaves the chamber, one cycle is completed, and another paintball drops in from the hopper.

The paintball chamber, or paintball breech, are two key components of your paintball marker. In addition to the main components of your paintball gun, there are a number of important accessories that will keep you playing at a very high level. Some of these accessories are specifically designed for longer games where the game may go on for hours, and you may travel far from your home base. In these types of games, you will need all the equipment necessary to perform maintenance on your paintball gear on the spot, as well as enough ammo and air power to fire many rounds of paintballs. You will need all the necessary equipment to clean your gun on the field, and all the reserve necessary to keep you armed for the entire match.
Equipment for Extended Play
Harness. The harness is like batman's utility belt that you see in the movies. The harness holds extra ammo, extra air supplies, and maybe even paint grenades or smoke bombs. Harnesses are usually called 4-1, 8-1 or 6-1. The harnesses hold tubes for holding paintballs.
Remote. The Remote is an air tank that is anchored to your harness rather than mounted onto the paintball gun. While the air goes directly into the chamber of the marker in a traditional mount, a remote is connected to the marker via a long, flexible, coiled hose. This can come in handy in long games where the gun can begin to get very heavy in your arms. Remotes are relatively inexpensive and available in most paintball stores.
Squeegee. A squeegee is used if a paintball ruptures in the barrel of the marker. The squeegee is used in the event of a paintball splatter inside the barrel as well as at the end of the day to clean out any CO2 or N2 or paint residue.
The paintball breech and paintball chamber are both important components of your marker. The breech and chamber are important parts of high end electronic markers such as the Aim Paintball Blitz Aphix. The Blitz Aphix from Aim Paintball is constructed with a Lightweight Milled Body and a high end Delrin Bolt with Titanium Pull Pin. The Blitz in one of a number of other high end paintball guns on the market. Other Aim Paintball market receiving good reviews include the AIM21 Eagle E-Cocker equipped with a Firestorm Electronic Kit and Shocktech 3:16 rat valve.
