Action | Parts and Accessories
The action refers to the components of the marker that get it reaches to shoot again after the previous shot has been fired. In a paintball marker, there are several key components to the machine that allow it to fire as many as 20 paintballs per second In a high end marker, the action components will drop the next paintball into place while the current ball is being fired, nearly eliminating a delay from one shot to another. In high end markers with fast action parts, a player will only be listed to how fast he is able to pull the trigger.

There are several different types of markers with marker actions that enable a player to fire quickly and accurately. 3 main differences between machines depends on whether they are blowback markers, blow-forward markers, or mechanical markers. Blowback markers use some of the air used to fire the paintball to push the bolt back to ready the marker for the next shot. A blowback marker works as an action pump, as its fast moving parts load and fire the paintball simultaneously, nearly eliminating a trigger delay.
Blowback marks are popular and offer pretty good value for the price you pay for it. There are some limitations to the blowback action pump marker. First, the action pump technology works very well, but can sometimes cause some inconsistencies in player accuracy. First, when a player fires a blowback marker, gas projects outward, out of the barrel to fire the paintball, and back to push the bolt in place to ready the machine for the next shot. Some critics of this action marker technology say that the gas pushes back, preventing a shooter from maintaining a steady shot. Some critics claim that the blowback technology prevents a player from shooting a steady shot, while others maintain that the gases pushing back has a minimal impact on a sniper's aim.
