Head Protection System
A paintball player's head protection system is any combination of goggles and mask that protects a person's eyes and face in a game. In most modern head protection systems, the goggles and mask is one attached system. In older systems the goggles would sometimes get dislodged from the mask when hit by a paintball if the two pieces weren't one unit. Today, a player's head protection system is mandatory for any type of paintball game. There are many goggle systems on the market today and some are better than others. Some things that can separate the functionality and quality of one system to the other is the anti-fog and anti-scratch properties of the lenses, and the ventilation system in the mask.
