Building a Mechanical Mag. The main body of a mechanical marker include the trigger frame, rail, body, and the valve assembly. The body of a marker includes the detent and feedback. The valve assembly of the maker frame includes the bolt assembly and the on/off assembly. The other essential parts of an automag include the air lined fittings front frame screw, rail bushing, sear pin, and sear. Other required marker parts include the ASA (the Vest ASA with mounting screws or ASA Bottomline. The Foregrip also comes standard with the purchase of a new maker. The Foregrip is held by the non-shooting hand, and it is either mounted directly onto the marker body, or screwed in. Some reliable foregrips include the Automag Foregrip from Logic Paintball, the A5A2 Foregrip from Special Ops Paintball, and the APP 98 Rubber Foregrip from Allen Paintball Products. The Allen Paintball Products APP 98 Rubber Grip has a rubber outer layer that will keep the marker from slipping out of a players hand at the most important time. The APP 98 Rubber Grip can be easily secured onto a paintball gun and requires only one screw to secure it in place. The materials and angle that the foregrip is held make the marker very easy to hold and aim for firing. The APP 98 Rubber Grip is specificaloly made to attach onto a Tippmann Model 98. The Tippmann Model 98 is one of the highest selling markers on the market.
