XSV Paintball Clinic. The paintball clinic was held at Outlaw Paintball on April 14, 2005, and young upcoming players were treated to an education like never before. This clinic was run by Pro Team XSV. The pro players know what it takes to be successful, and they were present to pass on this knowledge to whoever was eager enough to listen. This clinic was held at Outlaw Paintball www.outlawpaintballsupply in Redlands California, with exercises that included sweet spotting, running and shooting, and Snap Shooting. The tempo of the practices, practice drills, and games at the XSV paintball clinic was very spirited, and players and coaches alike were enthusiastic and full of energy. Teams who were already good but were eager to take their game to the next level attended this event, and they were not disappointed. The semi-pro and professionals from XSV were on hand to pass on their experience, and sharpen the skills of the younger players attending these events. All younglings at the paintball clinic come out better players than they were going in, and the clinic was a positive experience for everyone. The rookies and amateurs at this event improved on the skills that they already had, and learned new techniques that they can use later to become successful in tournament games. Players that were already good were pushed to close better snap shoot better, and to their running and shooting more efficiently than they ever had before.
Practice Drills at the XSV Paintball Clinic. XSV championship players have always known that the key to their winning franchise has always been playing as a team, and spending countless hours on practice drills until these skills almost become second nature. With this knowledge in mind XSV players have always spent hours a week practicing skill building until they were proficient enough to perform these skills to perfection in real tournament games. XSV has used the skills to become the perennial championship contenders that they are today. And at this clinic, they have chosen to give back to the younger generation of players. Some exercises that were taught and drilled at this clinic included 1 on 1 duels, running and shooting, sweet spotting, closing, snap shooting, and Field Walking. While Field Walking may not be the most thrilling exercise, it is one of the most important. Field Walking involves walking the field to get a feel for the bunker formations so that you can learn all the right angles and formulate teams strategies for bunker advancements in the actual tournament games.
