Paintball Clinic
Today, there are over 15 million aintball players across the world today, shooting at each other from the woods behind their house, on recreational paintball fields in the national tournaments. For every top - caliber player that makes their way into the semi-pro and professional circuit, there are twenty new players picking up a marker for the first time. Players learn the basics and then how to become good by getting mentored by experienced players, reading paintball magazines, and playing the game. Another great avenue players sometimes have available to them near their hometown is a paintball clinic. Paint ball clinics are often run by professional teams as a way of giving back to the paintball community, and as a way of getting younger players interested in the game. These clinics give the younger players a chance to learn from the best, and to learn and practice all the fundamental game tactics. This also gives professional paintball teams some exposure and a way to pursue some local and national sponsorships.
Dynasty Paintball is a blockbuster franchise that have had a long history of tournament success, a catalog of products that feature their team identity, and national sponsorships. As a way of thanking all the younger people who have supported them, they host a number of paintball clinics throughout the year. On August 2007, Dynasty players will host a paintball clinic at Drop Zone Paintball and Lawrence Kansas. The Dynasty Players Clinic at Drop zone will feature Dynasty athletes Yosh Rau and Ryan Greenspan. Players who show up for this clinic will learn how to run and shoot, dodge enemy fire, and flank the enemy. Players before and after the clinic will get a chance to ask Rau and Greenspan questions about their training regimen, practice schedule and tournament stories. Players for this clinic must preregister, and the total cost of the clinic is less than $280. Dynasty has put a 40 player limit on this clinic so that they will be able to spend a good quality amount of time with each player. Dynasty players will be more than happy to sign autographs once the clinic is over. The admission cost includes two days of instruction, lunch and drinks, and event T-shirts are, unlimited air refills, and a case of paint. In 2007, Dynasty will also host paintball clinics in England and Burley Idaho.

Dynasty is not the only professional paintball team to host a clinic. The Baltimore Trauma, XSV, and Naughty Dogs have also been generous with their time in training the next generation of paintball athletes. In the past, the Naughty Dogs have hosted paintball clinics in Albany, Oregon, where they have challenged younger players with various shooting drills and skill building exercises. Clinics at fields like Ultimate Paintball in Whitman Massachusetts have also hosted paintball clinics and paintball camps.
