Ultimate Arena Paintball League
The Ultimate Arena Paintball League offers some of the most electrifying paintball action in the game today. The Ultimate Arena Paintball League is often recognized by its anacronym UAPL and its distinctive logo. The UAPL logo is in the shaped of a shield, with red and blue halves behind the silhouette on white of a paintball player in game action. The UAPL is popular for a number of reasons including the elite teams that the league draws from, including the New England Distortion, the Sand Diego Dynasty, the LA Hitmen, and the Oakland Empire.
The Ultimate Arena Paintball League is especially known for taking the game of paintball to players and fans homes in nationally televised games. UAPL paintball games are broadcast every Saturday at 6 pm/et on Superstation WGN. The following UAPL games have taken place in the calendar year 2006. Western Conference games took place on April 1st & 2nd, and April 22nd & 23rd, Central Conference games took place on April 8th -9th, and April 29-30. Eastern Conference games took place on April 19th -16th, May 6th07th, May 27th-28th, preceeding the All Conference Competition in June. The All Conference Competitions were followed in July by the Cross Divisional Playoffs and an Ultimate Arena Paintball League championship round.

UAPL Games on WGN. The UAPL broadcasts weekly games every Saturday on Superstation WGN. The UAPL broadcasts game action between 29 teams playing at various venues around the country. The WGN. UAPL events take place between 2 man teams. Each week 8 teams from the league compete against one another in single elimination tournaments. The teams that make it to the championship round play against one another in a best of 7 series. The tournaments are played inside netted enclaves, 50 feet wide by 100 feet long, with remote controlled overhead cameras recording all the game action from multiple angles. Fierce tournament games feature metal walls and bunkers fully covered with paintballs by games end, and hours of exciting game action which are televised and brought to the public.
Ultimate Arena Paintball leagues games are broadcast on Saturday 6 PM EST, and Sunday 1 AM EST until the end of the championship games on April 9th, 2006. UAPL games are available to subscribers of the Dish Network and Direct TV. Call your local cable TV provider if you have questions about availability of these games. The Ultimate Arena Paintball League has 29 teams competing for a number 1 ranking, including the Portland Naughty Dogs, Sacramento XSV, LA Hitmen, and Las Vegas Gladiator. On the East Coast, there are a number of challengers to the West's dominance, including the Pittsburgh Smoke, Montreal NRG, New England Distortion, and The New York Shooters.
