Scenario Paintball Players League - SPPL
The Scenario Paintball Player's League - SPPL is a League dedicated to teams playing scenario games. Other Leagues include the New York XBall League NYXL, and the Tactical Ten Paintball League, who are also dedicated to scenario format games. The Scenario Paintball Player's League is a nationwide scenario tournament circuit tournament featuring a 10-man format. There are two main paintball game formats for organized competitive games, tournament speedball, and scenario games. Speedball tournaments feature football shaped fields with inflatable bunkers that are symmetrically organized on two halves of a field. Points in tournament speedball games are awarded for flag captures and player eliminations. In competitive speedball games, points are awarded for the completion of individual objectives. While tournament games are usually pretty short, scenario paintball games can last anywhere from 6 hours to days. While the setup of speedball fields have very little variability from one tournament to another, Scenario Paintball Player's League fields can be much more different and complex.

SPPL games are played in the woods and other natural environments. Players in SPPL games use semi-automatic markers such as the Tippmann/S.O. X7 Basic Black. The Tippmann X7 looks like a machine gun that you would see in a real military conflict. The Tippmann X7 looks like the real thing, and offers players an excellent performance. The Tippmann X7 features an innovative cyclone feed system called Cyclone EP (Enhanced Performance). This EP system feeds more than 25 paintballs per second into the marker chamber. The hopper on the Tippmann X7 is offset to the right of the sight on the marker, allowing players the ability to line up targets for some deadly accurate shots. One popular team objective is the task of taking out the Team Commander on the other team.
