NPPL
The NPPL is internationally one of the most prominent leagues in the game. The NPPL hosts the famous NPPL Super 7 World Series, with events that feature some of the World's best professional paintball teams. Some of the more famous NPPL (National Professional Player's League) pro teams include the San Diego Dynasty, Chicago Evil, and Oakland Blast NPPL games are played by thousands of novice, amateur, and pro players every year. The NPPL, while hosting world famous paintball games that are featured in national magazines like Paintball 2XTremes, also focuses a lot of its energies in players and teams of all experience levels. The NPPL has a pro league, with professional teams including the Philadelphia Assassins and the London Nexus, as well as teams from a number of other divisions. There are several NPPL player divisions including Pro, Semi Pro, Division I, Division II, and Division III. In 2006, the Division III league alone had 156 competing teams, including the 1 up Kinds, Misfit Militia, Freaks of nature, Arsenal Kids, Miami Sin, Ohio Power, Vienna United, and Xtreme Planet.
In early 2007, Pacific Paintball LLC acquired both the NPPL and the XPSL, the leading national and regional paintball tournament operators in the United States. Shawn Walker, the owner and President of XPSL, became President of Pacific Paintball. The XPSL was primarily a US West Coast league until early 2007. The XPSL, or the Xtreme paintball Sports League, has hosted some of the most watched and publicized paintball events n the United States. Some important XPSL Season events include the February tournament at Kern County Fair Grounds in Bakersfield California, and the San Jose California tournament running from September 7th to September 9th. The XPSL has the support of a number of high profile sponsors including Alien Paintball, View Loader, Dye Precision, Redz International, and Planet Eclipse.

In January 2007, pacific Paintball LLC acquired both the NPPL and the XPSL Shawn Walker, previously the owner of the XPSL, has taken on new responsibilities as the President of pacific paintball. The success of the NPPL and the XPSL has facilitated the interest of investors and the games best promoters to bring the two leagues together, and in the future provide new tournament experiences that will be better than anything previously experienced. Pacific Paintball will new bring these two leagues in new directions, while retaining the key elements in each league that made them so successful in the first place. Shawn Walker knows how to put together, and he knows how to promote these games and elevate the tournaments that he has been involved with. Walker has put together major tournament games like the Southern California XPSL Tournament Series, and he has been a co-host of the television show Inside paintball, broadcast on the Outdoor Channel.
The NPPL hosts their major tournament events in Las Vegas, Nevada, San Diego California, Boston Massachusetts, and Huntington Beach.
