Millennium Series Events
The Millennium Series is one of the most well know international paintball leagues. The Millennium Series is also know as the Pan-European paintball league. The millennium Series has events all across Europe, with majors in France, Germany, England, and Belgium. The Millennium Series is also known as the Millennium European paintball Series. Series Events is the past and present have been hosted across continental Europe and the United Kingdom. Millennium Series events begin with the World Cup, taking place April 7th - April 9th 2007. The World Cup will be played in Toulouse France. For players, friends and family of players planning on attending the Toulouse World cup, there are many excellent nearby hotels, including the Garden Hotel, Palladia, and the Nouvel Horizon. In the 2008 Millennium Series, the Toulouse Tontons, Joy Stockholm Oslo Menace, and Frankfurt Syndicate all dominated thee series events in the Champions Paintball league. Other Champion Paintball Leagues that were competitive at the 2006 Toulouse World Cup included the Sacramento Excessive, Helsinki Cyclone, London Tigers, and Vision PPC Grenoble. The Vision PPC Grrenoble captured a #7 ranking for the championship season. Vision PPC Grenoble of France placed as high as 6th place in Marseille France in 2006.
Following the World Cup, the next event that takes place is the MAXS European Masters in Nurburging Germany. The MAXS European Masters takes place from April 7th - April 9th 2007. The MAXS European Masters will be hosted at Nurburging which is also the site of one of Europe's most famous race tracks. Nurburging is the site of one of the world's most famous race tracks, as it is one of the longest and most scenic in the world. The tracks have been host to a myriad of motor sports, including formula 1 racing, Matossad-Einstellfahrten, PSK Track Day, and World Series by Renault. In addition to the Millennium Series Events held at Nurburging, there are also events including the ADAC-Westfalen-Trophy, the BF Goodrich langstreckenmeisterschaft-Louf 9, and the ULN- Einstellfahrten.
The first Millennium event to take place off continental Europe will be the Campaign Cup in London England. The Campaign Cup will begin on July 20th and end on July 22nd, 2007. The Campaign Cup will be held in Basildon East London. Some of the more competitive teams that will compete in the Campaign will include the Marcow Phoenix, the Stockholm Ignition, Manchester Shockwave, Oslo Menace, Ordbro Power trip, and the Toulouse Tontons. In division 1 action, the DG Icon, Kelly's, Daltons, Envy, and South Coast Stealers all placed high in seasonal ranking because of strong showings in Millennium Series Events such as the London Campaign Cup.
In September 2007, the Millennium Cup will be played in Belgium. The French Disney Open has a schedule of events planned for October 2007 in Paris France. Past French champions have included the Ipon Z, DG Ion, and the Toulouse Tontons.
