CXBL - Paintball League
The CXBL is also known as the Canadian X-Ball League. The CXBL. This CXBL is part of the Xtreme Paintball League. The Extreme paintball League has two divisions: the Canadian Xtreme Paintball League and the American Xtreme Paintball League (AXBL). Current teams in the AXBL include the Boston Sabers, Fort Drum Demons, New Haven Whalers, and Rochester Rhythm.
CX4 is a newly established league that was formed from the merger of the CXBL and AXBL. The X4 was created for the ambitious and energetic that have not quite made it to the semi-pro and professional level of competitive paintball. Teams that can be in the C. S. four will be programs that are new to the tournament circuit. Teams in the early stages of their career will have a chance to play in a supportive environment of judges and officials that specialize in running beginner tournaments. The CX4 atmosphere will be highly supportive of new tournament players who are on track towards becoming nationally recognized athletes from these games will compete in 4 on 4 man tournament at various times and places throughout the year. The CX4 League is still being created, and currently 15 franchises have been established for the Eastern Conference of the CX4 CXBL. Current CX4 teams in the Eastern Conference of the CXBL for 2007 include the St. Lazare Jokers, St. Laurent Shockware Jr., St. Antoine XSP Vigilantes, St. Agatha Little Chiefs, Rouyn Nosanda Mosquito Prevost Noisy Beast Petawa Fusion, Pembroke Valley Boys, and the lorrainville French Factory. Other Eastern Conference CX4 teams include the Long Veuil Little Scorpions, Kanata Random Heroes, Havelock Ak's Army, Charlesbourg ODC, L'Annaciation Cowboy Kids, and Almonte Hopperz Heroz.

The professional and highly competitive teams in the CBXL either play in one of three conferences: Western Conference, Central Conference, and Eastern Conference. The Sherwood Park PAG, Parkland Young Guns and Edmonton All Sports play in the Western Conference. The Delta Black Mambas play in the Western Conference and MXL.
