Carolina Field Owner's Association
The Carolina Field Owner's Association is one of the United States regional paintball leagues. Other U.S. Regional Leagues include the SCXL, SXPL, and NYXL www.thenyxl.com. The Carolina Field Owner's Association offers tournament events in the North Carolina and South Carolina areas. The Carolina Field Owner's Association is one of two U.S. regional leagues with games played in mostly the Southeast U.S. The Southeastern Xtreme paintball League also represents Southeastern USA. The CFOA has many prominent nationally recognized sponsors, including P6; Only, Paintball Games International, and Dye. The CFOA has divisions for players of all experience levels, and tries to nurture players along and bring them up to the professional level. The CFOA has divisions such as the CFOA 5-Man, Novice 5-Man, Rookie 5-Man, Beginner 5-Man, X-Ball Division 2, and X-Ball Division 3.
Team Profiles. Some of the beginner teams of the Carolina Field Owner's Association include Carolina Lockdown, SMP Ballers, Twisted, Ignite, Swarm, Team Reign Galvanized, and Team Fury. The rookie teams of the CFOA are comprised of Dynamic Red, Outcast RA, RA Right Attitude, High Maintenance Thermal and Swam legion among others. The novice teams are composed of Right Attitude, Raider, Gotcha Covered, Team Snapshot, Fracture, and Team Animosity. Team Animosity is a successful paintball team in the CFOA, and has participated in X-Ball tournaments all over the southeast. Coming up, Animosity PBC Sports Park Charlotte, x-Ball at Windy Hill Paintball, and X-Ball at the Alternative Sport in Kingsport Tennessee. Some of the palyers who complete Team Animosity include 18 year old Jon Bly, 17 year old Ben Bly, 32 yr/old Jason Hobbs, 17 year old Erich Meir, and 36 yr/old Steve Hardy. Animosity veterans like Steve Hardy and Jay Gladis lead the younger players by example, and have captained their teams to tournament victories.
CFOA teams like Raider and Right Attitude continue to inspire the rookie players with their attention to details and passionate X-Ball play. In the camp of Gotcha Covered the team members are always practicing to make themselves better, and are well equipped thanks to the support of sponsors like Indian Creek Designs and TAG Sportz. TAG Sports provide serious paintballers with products like autocockers, universal boards, and grease/oil. TAG Sports has always been there to make sure that all the players on Gotcha Covered were fitted with all the essential X-Gear they would need.
Players competing in CFOA tournament events have several game formats available to them, including the PBC 3-Man Series.
