The Midnight Sun Tournament Series takes place in Alaska, is the first tournament series of the LFPL, also known as the Last Frontier Paintball League. The Midnight Sun Tournament Series is also known as the MSTS. The MSTS offer speedball tournaments in the 3 on 3 and 5 on 5 formats. The MSTS is one championship in a season long series. At the end of the 2007 season, each team all have their points cumed from all of the tournaments, and the team with the most points at the end of the year is declared state champion. The MSTS is an individual tournament series and one of several championship matches where teams compete from several divisions. In each division, the winner from each tournament in each division is given the highest number of points for that event, the second ranked team in the tournament gets the second most number of points, and so on. At the end of the season, each team adds their points from all the tournaments, and the team with the highest point total is the state champion in that division. Other Alaskan championship tournaments from this league include a State Cup.
The Alaska State Cup is the final outdoor paintball tournament of the 2007 season and in the same tournament circuit as the MSTS. The Alaska State Cup is usually the biggest event in the circuit, with the highest number of teams participating and the largest audience turnout. The Alaska State Cup in recent years has been held at Element Paintball, now known as 907paintball.com.

907Paintball.com has been the host of the Midnight Sun Tournament Series, and they host games for both indoor paintball and outdoor paintball.
