UAPL - Making History
The Ultimate Arena Paintball League is one of the shining starts of the industry, as it is on eof the only leagues to have their games televised nationally. Ultimate Arena Paintball League games are broadcast on the Superstation WBN every Saturday and Sunday, and these games can be seen from the United States and Canada. Ultimate Arena Paintball League games are broadcast over 36 week seasons, and it is one of only a few leagues from any version of extreme sports that gets regular national coverage. Unlike in other sports like artistic gymnastics, the men and women play co-ed, with the same rules. Women and men can play on the same team in UAPL games, or the girls may form an all-women team and play against all-male or co-ed teams. The Ultimate Arena Paintball League was one of the first paintball leagues to have a women team play on a regular basis. The Ultimate Arena Paintball League is a testament to the fact that whatever the men can do, the women can do better (or at least the same).
UAPL games are played in smaller arenas than other league paintball games, so velocity speeds limits of 200 mph are in effect. The UAPL is comprised of 24 teams from America and Canada. Each team features 3 paintballers. Every week 8 of the 24 teams face off in a single elimination tournament. The championship round of the tournament will be an intense, best of seven game matches. All of the games are played in a 50 x 100 foot cage made out of netting and metal plates. Side and overhead cameras record all of the games that end up being broadcast on Superstation WGN. and UAPL TV. The games are broadcast every Saturday at 1 am Eastern Standard Time.

Ultimate Arena Paintball Games are broadcast in cities all over the continental United States. All UAPL members are able to participate in Top Gun Events. There are 15 Top Gun Regional Competition Sites in the United States from 3 major conferences. The Western Conference, Central Conference, and Eastern Conference each have 5 sites for Top Gun Regional Competitions. Eastern Conference Top Gun Games are played in Pittsburgh, Boston, Atlanta, New York, and Orlando. In the Central Conference, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, ST. Louis, and Detroit battle it out in Top Gun regionals. West Conference games are hosted by Phoenix, San Francisco, Portland, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles. To compete in Top Gun regional events, players must be registered as UAPL members and either be a ranked player or have won a regional qualifier. To win a regional qualifier, you will compete against 16 other players in a 1 on 1, single elimination tournament. The matches in these qualifiers are best of 7 battles.
Making History. Paintball history was made when an all-female team competed against an all male team in a nationally televised tournament and in the same league. The women played under the same rule look as the men, with no restrictions. The site of this paintball battle of the sexes was the Las Vegas All Sports Center on Sunset Boulevard. All Ultimate Arena Paintball League games are taped using high definition cameras.
24 professional teams from 3 conferences make up the UAPL games that are televised on Superstation WGN. Some UAPL teams include the Sacramento XSV from the Western Conference, Memphis Blues form the Central Conference, and the Jax Raiders from the Eastern Conference.
