Z - Paintball Terms & Definitions

• Zero - To properly sight in your paintball gun so that the sights correctly correspond to where a paintball will strike when the gun is fired.
  
  
• Zero (noun) - The correct placement for a sight, so that it is zeroed. The term zero is also used to refer to the angle at which the signal is on target.
  
  
• Z Leader (manufacturer) - Z. Leader produce Mask/Goggle systems that are strong enough to block projectiles but vented enough to keep the face cool enough on steamy days. Z Leader goggles such as the Titan Mask and the Conquest Mask have protected the faces of players at events from tournament series such as the Xtreme Paintball Sports League and the Skyline Paintball Series. Z Leader's Gladiator Mask may not be tough enough to stop the sword of Maximus, but it will be strong enough to stop a 300 fps speeding paintball. The Gladiator Mask gives players a great view of the field, providing them unparalleled 280 Degree Peripheral vision, so that you will see opponents coming at you from the flank. The Gladiator Mask comes in a flex shell, so that impacts to the mask will be absorbed without causing you headaches. • Zel Paintball (manufacturer) - while other manufacturers are designing machines that will propel the projectiles at you faster and straighter, ZEL Paintball are making the products to protect your body when you are the target of speeding paintballs. These Paintball Tactical Paintball Hoods protect the sections of your body that your mask and jersey may not, namely the top of the head and the neck. The padding in the head and neck areas are made of high quality, high-density foam that distributes and absorbs the impact of paintballs.
