- Newbie - A slang term for a new player in the sport of paintball. This person has limited experience playing paintball or knowledge about markers and team tactics. Generally, newbies rent paintball guns for a little while before buying their first machine. Usually, the first machine a newbie will buy will be a low end marker, as they are usually a little easier to maintain, and there won't be as much of a loss of money if the paintgun is damaged. Some good newbie starter games include the ACI F4 Illustrator XP, Game Face Vexor, and the Kingman Spyder Victor III. The Spyder Victor III is featured with a drop forward, vertical feed, new-style anti-double feed, quick take-down pin, and low pressure chamber.
- Night Vision Scope - A Night Vision Scope is a type of vision-enhancement tool used for nighttime purposes. A night vision scope either uses infrared technology or light-gathering technology to create a visible field in the scope of the shooter. - Necromancer (paintball game) - Necromancer is another multiple life game where one teammate can simultaneously bring multiple players back into the game by reaching one apparatus. The props needed for this include 1 post, a roll of string, and an air horn. Two teams of equal strength and equal fire power start the game from opposite ends of the field. One post is planted to the middle, with an air horn tied to it. The game starts with teams eliminating each other and making their way towards the center post. The game clock on the paintball game Necromancers is usually set for 30 minutes.
