Ten Shot and One Shot | Paintball Games
Ten Shot and One Shot are two paintball games where the players have only ten paintballs to shoot. Both of these games are between the teams, and these two teams are of equal strength. In the paintball game Ten Shot, players can load ten paintballs into any marker and hopper of their choice. When a player runs out of paintballs, then they must try to survive on their wits. The objective of the game is for one team to eliminate as many players from the other team as they can. Another slight variation is the game Twelve Shot, where players are allowed 12 paintballs to start the game. The winning team in both games either eliminates the other players from the other team, or has the most players standing when the time expires. These are usually short games, lasting between 3 minutes to 5 minutes long.
One Shot is a variation of Ten Shot, and is the ultimate example of Spartan paintball fighting. A player in the paintball game One Shot has 10 projectiles to shoot with at the start of the game, but he is not allowed to use any type of feeder or hopper to feed the marker. To arm his gun, each paintball must be dropped into the marker one at a time. The player is not allowed to carry the paint in pads either, he ahs to hold them in his hands or carry them in his pocket.
Ten Shot and One Shot paintball games are short as players run out of ammo quickly. In some One Shot games, players can carry 10 paintballs, in others they can carry as many as they want. 10 minutes is usually a good time for One Shot games.

Players use different tactics when playing Ten Shot, they only take a shot at the enemy when they feel very good about the player being in their range. If you are playing One Shot, choose a packet on your uniform that is secure and won't break paintballs as you kneel or slide. Put them in a safe place that won't break balls as you stalk you opponents. Choose a pocket that can be quickly accessed to direct feed your paintgun. Try to make every shot count, and don't go after any targets that are out of your range. Some fields that may have hosted games like these in the past include Sure Shot Paintball in Collaway Maryland, and Cross-Eyed Paintball in McDonald Tennessee.
