Sitting Duck - Paintball Games
Sitting Duck is a distinctive paintball game where the object of the game is not to capture the captain or score the most points, but to shoot the other team's captain. Sitting Duck is a game of single elimination, and the game is over when one team shoots the other team's captain. The game has two teams of equal parts, with one designated captain on each team. Each team's captain is known to the other team, he is usually decorated with two armbands on his two arms. These games last 30 minutes, with the game ending in a draw if neither captain has been eliminated at time expiration.
The game sitting duck is a shoot the captain game with one or two unusual twists. In one game format, the captain's marker is tethered to a 20 foot rope that is tied to the team flag station. The captain cannot untie the gun from the rope, the paintball gun must remain tied to the flag station. The captain may put down the marker and leave the flag station, but he will do so unarmed. The captain may not borrow a paintball gun from another player, he must run back to the flag station if he wants to use his gun again.

The Game Rules/Procedures. The game begins with two games of equal strength and one captain from each team. Sitting duck begins with each team starting from their own flag station. All the players on the field have free range to go anywhere on the field that they want, including the captain. The one thing for the captain is that his paint gun is tied to a 20 foot rope that is tied to an immovable object in the team's flag station. The captain can leave the flag station, but he will go it unarmed. The captain may not use another gun or borrow one from another player. The first team to shoot the other team's captain wins the game. There are not flags involved in these games. If no captain is eliminated within the 30 minutes game time, the game ends in a draw.
