Reinforcements - Paintball Games
Reinforcements is one of the few cool paintball games, where a player who has been shot out can be brought back into the game, by one of his teammates. In games like Reinforcements and Gettysburg, it can be tough to be tagged out of a game, and have to wait up to an hour for the next game to roll around. While this game follows the classic capture the flag format, an eliminated player does not have to leave the field, but he has can go to his flag station, and wait to be brought back in. This game features two teams of equal strength, two flag stations, and two flags hung at their respective flag stations. The two flag stations double as Reinforcement rally points. Reinforcement games are 30 minutes long. The objective of this game is to capture the opposing team's flag and return it to the base.
The Game Rules/Procedures. This game follows the classical capture the flag format. Eliminated players are not out of the game, but go back to their flag station. One player on each team is designated as the guy that can go back and get reinforcements, and he wears a colored armband so that everyone knows who he is. If the player wearing the armband is eliminated, he must go back to the flag station. Once at the flag station, he may collect any other eliminated players who want to go back into the game, and they all re-enter the game together. Eliminated palyers in the flag station cannot defend the flag station.

Players can elect to stay behind and defined the flag station. When they return to the flag station, they are active defenders. Players returning to the flag station must physically tag the flag to become active defenders. If the flag has already been snatched by the opposing team, they are considered out of the game as they enter the flag station. Players who are marked must cease being a part of game events, as they are temporarily out of the game. Once a tagged player has reached the flag station, he is back in the game, ready to be tagged back in. Players eliminated at their flag station are out of the game. The ultimate goal of the game is to capture the opposing team's flag, and return it to your base.
Reinforcements is a popular game that is played in fields all over the U.S. Other popular games like this are played on fields like Drop Zone Extreme Sports in Plathe, Kansas, and Bad Boys Toyz in Merrilville, Indiana. Like games Down But Not Out, those type of multiple life games are popular for players of all experience levels, but especially new players who are bored of spending so much tome on the sideline, waiting for the next game to come around. For the newbie that is tagged out in the first minute, reinforcements offers a second life and a second opportunity to help out your team.
Down But Not Out is another game where an eliminated player can come back into the game. In games like blackjack and recon, playes must leave the field as soon as they are marked. But in Down But Not Out, a hit player stops in place, and puts a sock or barrel plug over his marker indicating that he is a tagged player. He remains in place, until a teammate bring him back into the game by tapping him on the back of the hand. This process is called waiting. Paintball games like Reinforcements are popular on fields like JC's Indoor Paintball Field & Pro Shop in Bell Air, Maryland.
