Recon - Paintball Games
The game of recon is a game where the team with the most points wins. In this game teams travel together to try to make sure that none of their players are eliminated. The game features multiple five man teams, and multiple flag stations, or checkpoints. There is usually one checkpoint for every one team on the field. At each checkpoint, there is a flag, ornament, or distinctive object present so that a team will clearly see the checkpoint. Also at each checkpoint is a different colored gun. Each gun at each checkpoint will also shoot a different color of paint. In the recon paintball game, each player will try to mark a card attached to his wrist with the paintball gun at each checkpoint. The player will get 1 point for each different color he has marked on his card. When a team makes it to the checkpoint, each player will mark his own card. At the end of the game, a total of all the teams scores will be added up, and the team with the highest score wins. Players who are eliminated are to leave the game, and are not allowed back in. The team will be awarded no points for any eliminated players, even if they had cards marked before being eliminated. Players may mark their cards only with the markers that are provided at the checkpoint.
Recon Points and Objective. The team with the most collective points win the game. The goal of recon is to make it to as many checkpoints as you can, with all teammates surviving. Teams are awarded bonus points for making it to multiple checkpoints with all the members of their team. The scoring breakdown goes like this. Each team member is awarded a point for each color paintball that is marked on his card. If all five team members have cards marked from two checkpoints, they are awarded 5 points, 5 additional points are awarded for each additional checkpoint that has cards marked for all players. 2 points are awarded for each team member that has a card mark at every checkpoint. The team with the most points wins.

Recon is an interesting game for players that bore from the usual game of speedball, or capture the flag. Recon features multiple 5 man teams, so in a single game you may be able to get a lot of players into the game, minimizing the amount of time you would have other players sitting on the sideline. Recon is also a fun 3 dimensional game, where you have a checkpoint at various locations, as opposed to games like speedball with an obvious front and back. There are hundreds of rec ball paintball parks that you can play your favorite paintball games at including, Pinnacle Woods in Mentor, Ohio, and Paintball Adventure Games in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. For more information about your paintball games options, consider other multiple teams games that can include more than two teams, such as annihilator. In the game of annihilator, up to 4 teams are allowed for each acre of playing area. In recon, points are scored for each mark of a different color on an individual playing card. In annihilator, teams are given points for each player they hit on another team. Annihilator games are much longer than recon paintball games, lasting between 30-95 minutes. Other fun paintball games can also include the duel, spy and sitting duck. Unlike recon, sitting duck always includes two teams of equal players, where the object of the game is to shoot the captain, or to protect the captain.
