Night Recon - Paintball Games
Night Recon is one of a few paintball games that feature night paintball games. Night recon is a game that includes several smaller teams, teams that have 5 or less players. The game has multiple teams and multiple flag stations. Both the game of night recon, and the game of recon are very similar, as a match includes three or more teams, a card for each player, and a point for each mark on the card at the different flag stations. The difference between the two games is that night recon games are played at night. Because the game will often include players shooting at each other from such a close range, players are required to reduce the velocity to 220 mph as a safety precaution. Night recon is a great team game, as it is important for players to work together, and make sure that none of them get eliminated. If a player gets eliminated, the team will be awarded no points from his score card.
The Game Rules/Procedures. Three or more teams of equal size are formed, and each team begins at a flag station. There are as many flag stations as there are teams in the game. Each team should have a maximum of five members. Most night recon games have a 20 minute time limit. Each player carries a scorecard, which he will mark using a crayon or marker attached to a string at each flag station. Each flag station has a different color marker/crayon. Points are scored for every different colored mark they have on their card. The point system goes like this. A player gets a point for each mark on the card. A team gets 5 points if every player on the team has a card marked at two flag stations. The team gets 5 points for every complete flag station after the second. There is a 2 point bonus for every team member with a mark from each checkpoint. For the maximum number of points, every team member should have their card marked at every flag station. The team is awarded no points for a team member that has been eliminated. The team with the maximum number of points wins the game.
