Bunny Hunt - Paintball Games
The Bunny Hunt is a unique game, because it involves one player on one side and everyone else in the game as hunter. The bunny game is the only game I can think of with 1 player team against a whole army from the other team. In the bunny hunt paintball game, there is one "bunny" against everyone else ("the hunter"). These games last about 20 minutes, if the bunny is able to survive that long.
The Game Rules/Procedures - Before the game, one player volunteers to be the bunny. To give the bunny a chance to survive, he is given one of two advantages.

Advantage 1. The bunny is given a semi-automatic paintball gun, plus a shield for protection from incoming fire. If a paintball only splatters on the shield, the bunny is still in the game.
Advantage 2. The bunny is given unlimited paint, while the hunters are only allowed 20 paintballs each. Like the game of blackjack, hunters are not allowed to share paintballs with each other. If a hunter runs out of paintballs, then he must leave the field immediately.
Most games are 20 minutes in duration. The object of the game is for the bunny to survive for 20 minutes without getting eliminated. If you are a hunter, the goal is to eliminate the bunny. Bunny Hunt is a single elimination game, if the bunny is tagged, then the game is over. IF the hunter is eliminated, then he must leave the field. Hits on the shield is not an elimination if the bunny chooses Advantage 1. In all Bunny Hunt games, the bunny is allowed a 5 minute head start into the playing area. A signal is given so that the Bunny will know when the game has started. At the start of the game, all the hunters must start the game from the same location. If the bunny chooses the limited paint advantage, the hunter must leave the field if he is out of paint.
Bunny Hunt is similar to blackjack if the Bunny chooses advantage 2. In both of these games, the players are allowed a fixed amount of paintballs to shoot before they run out and must leave the field. One of the key differences between these two games is the objective. In the game of blackjack, the object of the objective is the team flag. The team flag of the opposition must be captured and brought back to the home base. In Bunny Hunt, the object of the objective is the player himself, or the Bunny. It is the bunny who must be tracked down and eliminated. Bunny Hunt and other popular paintball games have been played in a number of excellent paintball fields around the U.S., including Pinnacle Woods, in Chardon, Ohio, and Wolverine Paintball in Hendersonville, North Carolina. While capture the flag and games like total elimination are popular, there are a number of other fun paintball games like Duel, Attack & Defend, and Annihilator. Check with your local rec or tournament field to see what kind of game formats are available.
Bunny Hunt is not to be confused with The Bunny Game, a totally different game. The Bunny Game is one format from the series of attack and defend games, where one team playing defense must defend against an attacking team trying to break into their line of defense and accomplish an objective there. The line of defense could be an actual fort, a castle, or just an area around a flag hang station or object for defending. In the Bunny Game, the "bunny" is an actual toy bunny, that the attacking team must get close enough to shoot in the goggler. The area around the bunny is defended by the defending team who tries to hold off the attacking team.
