Protect the VIP | Paintball Game Variations
Protect the VIP may either be played as an attack and defend style game, or there may be a VIP for each team. In both variations, the game is over when a VIP has been eliminated. In this game one or two players are designated as the VIP, and the objective for the team that has the VIP is to escort him from one location to the other without him getting marked. In all game variations, when the players' team has their VIP eliminated, the other team wins the game. In each team, one player is the VIP while all the other players provide protection and escort the VIP to some kind of safe zone. In other versions of Protect the VIP Paintball Games, the objective of the game is to keep the VIP alive for a designated period of time, these games typically have one VIP for one team. In games where there are two VIP's, there may be one of two possible game objectives. In one objective, both teams try to keep the VIP alive for the duration of the game. This game either ends in a victory for one team or in a draw for both teams. In these games, both teams try to keep their VIPs alive until the end of the game. If one team eliminates the other team's VIP, the game does not end right there. They must still manage to keep their own VIP alive until the end of the game to win. If both VIPs are eliminated, the game ends in a draw.
In other variations of the game Protect the VIP, a single VIP is designated for one team, who tries to transport him from one location to the other. In this game variation, the object is not simply to keep the VIP alive, but to get him to a certain location within a designated amount of time. In this game the team with the VIP wins if they are able to get the VIP over to a safe zone before time on the game clock expires. The objective for the other team is to mark the VIP or keep him for getting to the safe zone for a given amount of time. All variations of the paintball game usually last between 20-30 minutes. Other entertaining recreational games include President: Civilian Riot President: Kidnappers, President: Deco, and Renegade P.O.W.

Other game variations where the objective revolves around a single player or one or two players include Hostage Rescue, Bunny Hunt, and Shoot the Groom. Shoot the Groom is an interesting paintball party event that involves the bachelor party and the bachelorette party. The game begins with the groom to be against all of the members of the bachelorette party. In some versions of the game, the groom is able to bring along the best man to help him survive. The objective of the game is for the groom team to survive, either by eliminating all of the female soldiers or by staying alive for a designated period of time. The game is over as soon as the groom is eliminated.
