Multiple Life Games | Multiple-Life Games
Multiple Life Games, are similar to Attack and Defend Games, where you have one team attacking and one team defending. Multiple Life Games are played in semi-open fields. During these games, defenders are usually limited to the location they are responsible for defending, while the attackers have a free range of movement within the boundaries. The goal for multiple life games is for the attackers to accomplish some objective within the area the defense is trying to protect. The key difference between the multiple life games and attack and defend is that an attacker may come back into the game if eliminated. An eliminated attacker must return back to his base, and soon be allowed back into the game. Each individual attacker is allowed back into the game one time. If eliminated twice, they are out of the game permanently. Defenders play the game only as a single elimination. This seems a little unfair, but not everything in life is always fair.
The attacking team has an advantage for two reasons. First, they may roam the entire field, while the defenders are boxed into one area. Second, they have the benefit of multiple lives. How are wins and losses scored and decided? The fate of each team is determined by whether or not the objective is completed. If the attackers are able to complete their objectives before time runs out, then they win. If not, then the defenders win the game.
Some fields have multiple life games with an objective to be completed in more than one area that is up for defending. Some paintball venues have big fields with 4 flag stations in 4 different places on the field. Within a certain period of time, the attacking team must capture all 4 flag stations. Capturing a Flag Station means lowering the other team's flag and raising your own. Until your own flag has gotten to the top of the flag pole, the station has not been captured. If the attacking team player is shot while raising the flag, then it stays where it is until another attacker takes over this duty. Once the attacking flag has been raised to the top of the flagpole, the station has been captured, and the defending team may not recapture it. If shot down, an attacker must return to the home base for a maximum of one life renewal. If time expires before all the stations have been captured, the defending team wins.

President is one popular version of the Multiple Life Games. In playing President, one member of the attacking team is designated the president. The attackers get one rechargeable life, while the President is gone in a single elimination. In the game, the defenders are given a certain region to defend within the paintball field. The defensive players are given a sufficient amount of time to set up a formidable defense before game start. The attackers are given a base to set up an offensive from outside of a range that they can get shot at. The objective of the game is for the attackers to get the president to a specific location within the land the protected by the defense. If the attackers get the president to this point, then they win the game.
Predator is a unique version of the multiple life games. In predator, there are humans and predators, and all players have multiple lifes.
