Washington Paintball Fields
Washington State is located at the farthest corner of the Pacific Northwest, and it is known for its city of Seattle and its capital Olympia. Washington is named after America's first president George Washington, and its highest point of elevation is not Rainier. Washington is a coastal state with great beaches in the Cranberry Peninsula and the Kalaloch Area. If you are looking for some great sites in the area, there are many great places to take scenic drives. About 80 miles north of Seattle, starting from Bellingham on I-5, Route 11 winds along Chuckanut Bay between steep, heavily wooded cliffs and sweeping views of Puget Sound and the San Juan Islands. Washington borders are gone to the south and Idaho to the east. Washington is known for its spectacular, modern buildings in its big cities and its natural wonders and its rural areas along the coasts. In the Olympic Peninsula, there are hundreds of thousands of acres of green wilderness, the Rivers of the Olympics rain forests, and the towering Olympic Mountains. Some beautiful sights in the Olympic peninsula include the twin seaports of Aberdeen and Hoquiam, the Sol Duc River Valley, and the Sol Duc Hot Springs. The Sol Duc Hot Springs has three natural hot sulfur pools ranging from 98°F to 104°F that people can take short dips in.
Washington is a specially known for its famous Seattle, the birthplace of grunge music, Starbucks, and Microsoft. Although Seattle's growth of the late 1990s has slowed, evidence of the city's building boom, high profile, and growth pains remains. Near Pike Place Market, the Market's original Starbucks which opened in 1971, remains. Other cool places to visit in Seattle include the 5-story Seattle Art Museum, the Space Needle, Washington Park Arboretum, and the Elysian Brewing Company.
