Oklahoma Paintball Fields
Oklahoma has the Mistletoe as their state flower and their slogan is "Labor Conquers all Things." Oklahoma is a Midwestern state, just above Texas and land known for cattle drives and cowboys. Oklahoma as a western state was largely forged in central Oklahoma, where pickup trucks, cowboy boots, and oil wells were the original status symbols. The Chisholm Trail, the most famous of the cattle trails that moved Texas cattle through Oklahoma Territory after the end of the Civil War, came through here 130 years ago. The country's largest live cattle auction still gets under way in Oklahoma City's Stockyard City every Monday and Tuesday morning. Many towns in central Oklahoma, including Guthrie, Oklahoma City, and Norman, share a common heritage: they were born in a single day. The land run of April 22nd, 188i9 opened parcels of land in central Oklahoma to non-Indian settlement. Americans in search of land for farming and raising a family rushed into the unclaimed lands to stake their claims. Oklahoma has many beautiful lakes, museums, and interesting points of interest.
Some interesting points of interest in Oklahoma include Alabaster Caverns State Park, the First Capitol Trolley in Guthrie, and the Myriad Botanical Gardens in W. Reno. The Myriad Botanical gardens takes visitors through habitats ranging from desert to rain forest, complete with a 35 foot waterfall.
