North Carolina Paintball Fields
Visitors to North Carolina have a lot to see and enjoy, from the prestigious universities to the beautiful east coast beaches. The landscapes near the coast of North Carolina look a lot like historic Cape Cod in Massachusetts, with its Cape style and Victorian homes, marshlands, and ocean views. The capital of North Carolina is Raleigh and its largest city is Charlotte. The city of Charlotte is the home of the Charlotte Hornets (professional NBA Basketball). Charlotte is also a beacon of learning with its University of North Carolina Charlotte. There is also a University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. At Discovery Place in Charlotte, there are dynamic special exhibits, an Omnimax theater, and even an indoor rain forest. Also located in the state of North Carolina is the North Carolina Zoological Park, Duke University and the Guilford Courthouse National Military Park.
North Carolina has some of the most beautiful coastlines in the country. Because of its natural beauty, the television show Dawson's Creek was filmed mostly in the coastal town of Wilmington North Carolina. Some of North Carolina's most beautiful beaches include Sunset Beach in Brunswick County, Yaupon Beach, Long Beach, and Atlantic Beach. The coast and seashore of North Carolina also host a number of historic landmarks and towns, including Roanoke Island. Roanoke Island was one of the earliest settlements of the Europeans as they made their first attempts to colonize the lands of the new world.
There are many North Carolina paintball fields that keep the young and older alike entertained through the spring and summer. At CJ's Paintball in Midland, athletes have access to playing fields and a Proshop, where they can get all the air they need and aftermarket products such as the Angel Valve Kit from Evil. The CJ's store is open Tuesday thru Friday from 1 PM - 8 PM and Saturday from 10 AM to 8 PM. Currently, CJ's was in transition in the summer of 2007, and the store and fields were up for sale.
Other North Carolina paintball fields include Camp Splat Paintball in Henderson, Freedom Paintball in Fort Bragg, and Black River Paintball in Coats. Freedom Paintball in Fort Bragg has a fully stocked Proshop that usually has what players need. The staff who work at the Proshop are all veteran paintballers and will be able to quickly identify what is wrong with your paintball gun if it is misfiring. The fields at Freedom may be a little bit more rustic than the Speedballers are used to, but the terrains are ideal for scenario games.
Gold Diggers is both a paintball shop and a paintball field. At their paintball field in Locust North Carolina, they will be hosting several NFOA games in 2007. On March 4th, 2007 GD will host a 3 Man Beginner & 1 CFOA Rookie 4-Man speedball tournament. Gold Diggers also hosts scenario games such as Black Hawk Down, starting on July28th, 2007.
