Indiana Paintball Fields
Indiana is a Midwestern state, bordered on its left side by Illinois and its right side by Ohio. Indiana has been the home state of many famous professional athletes, including Peyton manning and Larry Bird. A fictional town (Hanover) was made famous as the hometown of Woody Boyd on the successful sitcom Cheers. The Indianapolis Colts professional football team probably gets more national attention than any other site/sports team in the state. The state of Indiana was the 19th U.S. territory to become a U.S. state. In the field of sports and entertainment, Indiana is well known for its Indianapolis Colts professional football team, Indiana Pacers pro basketball team, and Indianapolis 500 American open wheeled car race. In the sport of car racing, there are two main divisions, the IRL (open wheeled cars) and NASCAR.
The Indianapolis 500 is a 500 mile race and is also known as the International 500-Mile Sweepstakes. Past winners of the Indianapolis 500 include Mario Andretti of the USA, Dan Wheldon of England, Helio Castroneves of Brazil, and Arie Luyendyk of the Netherlands.

There is a lot to see and do in Illinois besides watching sports. Indiana is one of the Great Lakes States, and its northern border includes Lake Michigan. The two largest cities in the state include Indianapolis and Fort Wayne. Fort Wayne is a historical city with sites such as the Allen County Courthouse and the Japanese Garden, and the Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory. Fort Wayne is the home of several minor league and semi-professional sports teams, including the Fort Wayne Wizards (Midwest League Baseball) and Fort Wayne Komets (United Hockey League). Other sites/structures worthy of attention in Indiana include Hoosier National Forest in Bedford, the University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, and the port of Burns Harbor in Northwest Indiana.
Paintball is a sport with a much shorter history than the Indianapolis 500, but it is a growing discipline and there are over 40 playing fields for this game throughout Indiana. Dark Armies Paintball in Indianapolis is also known as Necropolis City of Perpetual Darkness. Dark Armies Paintball has facilities and a staff that specialize in both private paintball parties and walk-on games. Dark Armies operates with the philosophy that their recreational players are their most welcome customers. While there are a percentage of players looking to use Dark Armies fields/games to tune up for NPPL tournaments, most players have little or a modest amount of experience.
