Illinois Paintball Fields
Illinois is a beautiful state located towards the center of the continental U.S., and is bordered by Wisconsin in the north and Kentucky from the south. Illinois is most well known for its illustrious Chicago, with its incredible skylines and the Chicago River that runs through the city. Chicago is known as the Windy City, probably due to its natural location near Lake Michigan.
Chicago is famous for its historical landmarks and buildings and for its panoramic skyline highlighted by skyscrapers such as the Sears Tower. The Sears Tower is the tallest building in the United States and was, for a time, the tallest building in the world. Chicago is known as the cultural, business, and financial capital of the Midwest. The city was founded in 1833 was a major post of trade and commerce between the Great Lakes and the Mississippi River. The city continued to grow and thrive through the end of the 18th century, eventually becoming the transportation hub of North America. Some of Chicago's most prominent structures include Aon Center, Two Prudential Plaza, Mid-Continental Plaza, and AT&T Corporate Center.

The list if interesting and historic structures/places does not end with Chicago. Illinois is bordered by two major water bodies, the Mississippi River and Lake Michigan. And while Illinois is most famous for its metropolis Chicago, it is also known for its expansive plains of land in Central Illinois. The flat prairie lands in Central Illinois are also known as the Heart of Illinois. Illinois is also known as the birth place of Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President of the United States.
The state of Illinois is also known for its professional sports teams and its Illinois paintball fields. There are nearly 50 paintball fields in Illinois from Ottowa to Yorkville. At Paintball Massacre Arena Inc. in Carol Stream, players have access to an indoor field that will allow them the ability to play their game no matter what the temperature is outside. On Tuesday and Friday, players can bring their own paint with no additional field charge. At Mississippi Valley Paintball (MVP) in Port Byron, players new to the game will have an opportunity not available to them at most other fields. On Wednesdays at MVP Paintball, players can play from 4pm to 8pm for no field fee and no rental fee. The field also has a staff of excellent photographers who shoot high resolution action photos of MVP games for players to view, show to their friends, and download to their own computer.
At Fox River Games Paintball n Millington, athletes have playing opportunities in both recreational games and scenario events. Some upcoming events in 2007 include their Young Guns 3-Man Tournament Series on April 29th and Lost All Day Scenario on May 12th. Included in their events calendar are All Day Scenarios, Mini Scenarios, 3-Man Young Guns, and Tournaments. Fox Paintball has several events on their Young Guns 3-Man Series schedule. In 2007, there will be one tournament a month from April to September for the Young Guns 3-Man Series. Fox Paintball also has an affiliated Proshop.
