One of the famous movie quotes about the state of Delaware comes from the movie Wayne's World:
Wayne Campbell: "Or, imagine being able to be magically whisked away to… Delaware. Hi. I'm in Delaware."

This came from the movie in a sketch where they were using some colorful ways to describe the various states in the U.S. When they were describing Texas, there were shots of Wayne and Garth wearing cowboy uniforms and acting like cowboys.
But when they got to the state of Delaware, there was not anything colorful to say about it. In fact, the state of Delaware has a lot to offer when it comes to sightseeing locations and history. Being one of the original 13 colonies and states in the U.S., Delaware has a long history going back several hundred years. Delaware is a state that lies just above Maryland and just below Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and is very close to the Mason-Dixon Line separating the Northern and Southern states. Delaware is a coastal state, bordered on its east side by the Atlantic.

Some fine beaches on the Delaware coast include Bethany Beach, Dewey Beach, Rehoboth Beach, and Leves Beach. Delaware is one of the smallest states in the U.S., with a population of about 850,000 and a size of about 2,500 square miles. Though the population size of the state is less than 1 million, it is actually one of the most densely populated states in the number of residents per square mile of land. Some interesting locations in Delaware include Constitution Park, Drexel University at Wilmington, and the Apple Scrapple Festival in Bridgeville.
