Del Hobbies Paintball, is one of America's most popular paintball fields, and some of their games have been written about in national paintball publications. There are a number of national paintball publications that can be found at local bookstores, including Action Pursuit Games Magazine, Dead Box Magazine, P2P Magazine, and Facefull. Del Hobbies is a 3 dimensional paintball facility, with fields for weekly games, a Proshop, and tournament throughout the year. Del Hobbies paintball are proud supporters of the U.S. Army, and all the units of the United States military. Del Hobbies are the host of some of the most well known tournaments in the country, and draw spectators and players from the four corners of the U.S. Del Hobbies is located on 322 Artillery Drive, in Pedricktown, New Jersey. The Del Hobbies website offers information about signing up for tournament games, as well as information about their rentals/supplies stores and general info about the game of paintball.
The Del Hobbies website is an online advertisement for their games, tournaments and field, and it also has informational tools for players and game operators to organize teams, non-tournament games, and team practices. On the DHP message board blog, players can buy and sell paintball guns, and inquire about marker upgrades and after market products. Some players use the DHP message board to organize team scrimmages with other teams, or to post inquiries about joining an already existing team. Players on this message board may have hit a well wall with one team, and be seeking a new are to play tougher competition and challenge themselves. Players on these message boards may post their tournament or rec history, the markers they have used in games, and their natural player position.
Del Hobbies paintball posts rates for playing in weekend and tournament games. Regular Saturday game rates will be $10.00 for X-Ball or 7-Man. Sunday rates are $20 for an all day pass on DHP field, and $15 plus paintballs if you purchase from the supplies store. For $10, new players can rent a mask and gun and receive the support of a helpful staff who make sure that all of their rental gear is used wisely and safely. The paintball fields at DHP are open to everyone On Sunday. On all other days, some DHP fields may be reserved for special events and private parties. Groups of 10 or more people may receive 3 hours of playing time at DHP's fields and facilities for $40 per person. Included in the $40 per person charge will be the use of DHP's fields, 3 hours of playing time, referees, goggles, markers, and a half case of paintballs per person. There are 1000 paintballs n a half case. Some popular special group events include fundraisers paintball and birthday party paintball.
Del Hobbies paintball has a regular team that plays under the DHP banner. DHP sends their team to many seasoned tournaments, and tournament operators at Del Hobbies also host a number of tournament every year. Paintball as a sport was founded by Hayes Noel, Charles Gainer, and Bob Gurnsey.
