Canada Paintball - Canadian Paintball
What was once an exclusively American sport has grown to be enjoyed in many countries today. Today, there are over 200 Canadian Paintball Fields and more are being developed every year. Canadian Paintball fields can be found in all of their territories, including Quebec, Ontario, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia. Canada has produced some of the best players that play the game today. Canada even has leagues of their own that rival American leagues such as the National Collegiate Paintball Association. In Canada, there is the Canadian X-Ball League, otherwise known as the CXBL. The Canadian X-Ball League has world famous event like the Tsawassen Paintball and Ground Zero Paintball that will take place in April and May. The Canadian X-Ball League is made up of 6 conference and approximately 42 teams. In the CXBL, there are 3 conferences and 24 teams and 3 MXL conferences and teams. Some CXBL teams include the Edmonton AllSports, Ottawa Mavericks, and the Blainville Cyclones. Canada X-Ball League games will have team flag stations on each end of the field, as well as a center flag station placed at midfield.
For players and teams that are more interested in themed or MilSim games, there is the Canadian Scenario Paintball Operations, or CSPO. The CSPO hosts a number of scenario games during the year, including the First Game of the Year of North Shore Paintball, and Operation Attack Fort in November 2007. The CSPO website has a number of image and video galleries that are uploaded regularly that depict action shots from CSPO games. If you are interested in playing some Canada Paintball, there are plenty of fields available. In Nova Scotia, Hawkeye Ridge Paintball Field has a number of well designed woods ball and speedball fields. With this paintball field being open year round, it is an excellent venue for bachelor parties, bachelorette parties, corporate events, and birthday parties. Other Nova Scotia paintball fields include Shore Shot Paintball field, Black Watch Paintball Field, and Splatz Insane Paintball. The Splatz Insane website provides maps to their fields as well as updates of upcoming events Splatz specializes in open games and private corporate events. Paintball is an excellent corporate event as it is a game that encourages teamwork, fair play, and positive social interactions.

If you have managed to make it out to the French side of Canada, there are over 40 excellent fields to choose from near Quebec. Bigfoot Paintball Field in Saint-Alphonse Quebec has games that feature paintball moving tanks, downed helicopters and a ProShop where you will get a chance to pick up all the equipment that you will need. BigFoot Paintball is a Canadian Paintball field that specializes in scenario games. Some scenario game themes at BigFoot have been Predator, Black Hawk Down, Apocalypse Now, Terminator, World War II, and Rambo.
If you are in the New Brunswick area, there are a number of fields that offer non-stop action, including Megidda, Domus Silvae, and Coastal Action Paintball. Coastal Action Paintball has a number of large playing fields in Deer Island, New Brunswick.
