Q. How many players do I need to get together to get a full paintball game together?
A It really depends on the type of game you want to play. Paintball games can range from 3 on 3 matches to as many as over 100 players on each side for scenario games. Most local paintball fields have enough fields that will allow you a number of different options regarding game formats based on the size of the group that you bring to the field. If you are only coming to the field with yourself or only one or two other friends, they will probably be hosting a number of matches that offer walk on players. Q. Will the paint splatter stain my clothes?
A The squishy paint inside the paintball is water soluble, meaning that it will come out in the wash. Just to be on the safe side, you should wash your paintball clothes separate from your other duds. There are a number of manufacturers of clothing specific to the sport of paintball. For cool pants that will get you where you need to go, check out Cyclone Pants by 32 Degrees. Cyclone Pants are robust and resistant to tears as you slide along the gritty surfaces of rec fields and rough turf on speedball fields. 32 Degrees are pretty durable and good to slide in.

Q. As a beginning player, should I be shooting for the stars right away and be pushing my way onto the more veteran teams?
A Generally, the answer is no. Many experienced players are unsympathetic to the newbies cause and are moiré than willing to light up the beginner. It is better to compete with players at or around your experience level.
Q. Is there a minimum age requirement?
A The minimum age requirement depends of the field operators and managers. Many fields have 16 as the minimum age to participate in games. Often, paintball fields with a minimum requirement will allow players 12-16 to play with parental consent or a parental chaperone. Many fields have a waiver link published on their online site that parents can print out and sign.
Q. Are drinks, beverages, and alcohol permitted?
A All beverages are prohibited on the fields, with the exception of plastic bottles of water on some large scenario fields. Games with scenario fields are often long, and require the players to drink water to sustain themselves. Alcohol is always strictly prohibited, and players under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be asked to leave the field and not come back.
Q. What do we do if we get the munchies?
A Most fields have a cooler or refrigerator that you can use to store your food and drinks.
Q. Can I have a Private Game?
