Protective Gear
The players protected here is any piece of clothing or protective clothing that is designed to prevent player injury, or to reduce the sting of the paintball impact. Paintball players who show up at your first game in shorts and T-shirt quickly learn the importance of wearing clothing that covers their arms and legs, and they quickly learned to appreciate protective gear. Generally, paintball players learn to protect as much of their body as they can, and try not to leave too much skin exposed to a paintball impact. Finding the right gear that will work for you can sometimes be a continuous learning process, as you do not want to load up with so much gear that you over heat or are weighed down. Due to the equipment involved in playing the games, players may need to use certain types of protective gear that they may not need in other sports. For instance, players may really need knee and elbow pads when playing in certain environments. In the sport of woodsball, players may be running and diving in rocky, stumpy, or uneven environments. Players diving and sliding around in unpredictable environments will want some type of padding or protective gear if they want to protect themselves from skin tears or other injuries. Some paintball manufacturers of protective gear include Dye, Flurry Industries, and Proto.
Players need to protect themselves if they want to continue at play in a highly competitive level and stay away from the injury. Paintball players often use a number of different protective devices, especially due to the way they run, slide, and even fall. Most sports are played in heavily landscaped and standardized environments. In sports section paintball, football, and soccer, the fields are made up of grass and soft dirt and are designed to accommodate players who are diving and sliding. In woodsball and scenario paintball, though, players compete in natural environments where they may be running and sliding through harsh conditions. To protect their knees, they may want to use knee pads if they plan on leaving their feet often. Some supportive knee pads include Dye 5 Elbow Pads Empire Paintball Ventz SS Knee Pads, Planet Eclipse Egear Distortion Pants, and Redz Knee Padz. Redz knee pads give players a soft landing to the ground, and they have a triple padding to give knees the support that they need.

The sport of paintball presents many challenges that are unique to paintball players. When players dive or fall to the ground in most sports, they are able to put both of their hands out in front of them to protect themselves. But in paintball, a player must also try to protect the paintball gun as he goes down. That may leave a player's elbows exposed to injury. To protect a players arms, they may want to add elbow pads to their protective gear. Proto Elbow Pads offer players excellent protection to their elbows.
