Torso | Inflatable Bunker
The inflatable bunker has become very popular with field owners, because they are strong, light, portable, and dependable. With all competitive sports, it is easier to play on fields that you are familiar with, so that a player's talents can shine, and so that players don't have to use half their energy learning to play a particular field. A paintball bunker is a blown up obstacle that you and your opponents can use as a stationary shield to block paintballs from hitting you. Though bunkers like log piles are sturdy and fun to sue, they take a long time to set up, and are thus not suitable to speedball games that have standardized field dimensions and bunker placements. Inflatable bunkers like the Torso, Tree, A, and Cylinder can be set up quickly and are tough enough to survive collisions with paintballs, and players. Inflatable bunkers are one part of a player's field gear that also include gear bags, tools, chronographs, and fill stations. Same manufacturers of inflatable bunkers include Extreme Rage, Kingman, and Balzlistic Inc. While most companies specialize specifically in classical bunker shapes like the Brick, Dorito, and Beam, other companies like Mighty Paintball produce other bunker shapes for other types of games.

Mighty Paintball sell a bunker series called scenario series bunkers. These bunkers have shapes and surface art that resemble natural objects and things that you would see in a military simulation environment. The bunkers from this scenario series includes the Cannon, Rock, Rocket, Striped Snake, Tank, Tree, and Torso. The Torso is in the shape of a paintball player standing straight with his legs spread and his arms straight out by his shoulders. The Torso is tall enough for a single player to stand behind and shoot from, though shoot from around this bunker may take some extra maneuvering with the arms at shooter level. The Torso bunker from Mighty Paintball stands at 6 feet tall and would make a fine addition to a scenario or Speedball field.
Bunkers such as the Torso or Wings would commonly be seen on an airball field. One popular venue for airball paintball includes Puyallup Airball Super Airball Field in Puyallup Washington. Puyallup is open 7 days a week for private groups. Group rates include a private 3 hour session not a private field. Most games last about 5 minutes and your group will share the field with other groups. Walk-On Rates at Puyallup Field are $10 Tuesday thru Thursday and $15 Friday thru Sunday. All day air refills are included with the walk-on rate fee. A $10 rental package will include the mask, tank, and gun. A $35 rental package will include the gun, tank, mask, field fee, and 500 paintballs. Splat Attack also has a Proshop and online superstore for buying markers and gun upgrades such as Nerve Ball Detents, Excalibur Eye Covers, and Shocker SFT Shocker 15° ASA w/ Gauge Port.
