Half Moon / Inflatable Bunker
The Half Moon Inflatable Bunker has been on display at tournament events hosted by the CFOA and the NPPL Super 7. Bunker shapes like the Half Moon and the Taco have filled competitive tournament fields with costumes that ring a variety and excitement to the game. The Half Moon is about the same height as the Cube, which is usually about 5-6 feet tall. The Half Moon is a kneeling bunker, meaning that if a player were to stand and shoot the top of his head or goggles might be exposed. Different manufacturers produce different sizes for the Half Moon, some are tall enough for players to stand behind and still have their entire body covered. The Half Moon by Sup' Airball comes in only one size, and is 5 feet high from the base to the top of its arch. The shape of the Half Moon is nearly identical to the Tombstone. The Half Moon is much wider than the tombstone. The shape of the Half Moon is close to a pie cut in half, but with more of a straight shaft towards its base. The Tombstone, though is closer in shape to the brick, but with an arch near the top of its vertical end. The shape of the Tombstone is very close to that of the tombstone you see in a cemetery.

Players who use the Half Moon for shooting usually shoot out from the sides of the bunker, as it is too tall to shoot from over the top of it. The most common stance you will see from a player shooting out of the Half Moon is a kneeling player, or a player on his knees shooting from out of the sides of the bunker. The most seasoned players from leagues like the SXPL and the SCXL learn how to use both sides of bunkers like the Half Moon and the Wedge so that that can use a greater variety of shooting angles to eliminate the enemy. To use both sides of these inflatable bunkers, players learn to shoot with both hands, in this game is often referred to as shooting with your off hand. Inflatable bunkers such as these are popular of paintball tournament series such as the NCPA, XPSL, and NXL.
Inflatable bunkers have several active manufacturers, including Extreme Rage and Adrenaline Games. Adrenaline Games are especially known their various Sup' Airball shapes, but they also contribute many other great products to the sport of paintball. Adrenaline Games is the publisher of Face Full, one of the premier paintball magazines in the country. Facefull is a dynamic magazine that publishes the most colorful and dynamic action shots in the world. Adrenaline are also responsible for many of the other products that make up tournament speedball fields. Adrenaline Games makes products such as Cage, Meeting Paintball, Protec, and the Paint Turf.
